Australian tea tree oil is a highly rated medicinal oil that has been in existence for over a hundred years now. This medicinal oil comes from the leaves of a tree known as Melaleuca Alternifolia. The Melaleuca alternifolia is a small tree native to Queensland and New South Wales in Australia that was first discovered by two German botanists Joseph Betche and Ernst Maiden in 1904.
