3)      Curing nail infections
As tea tree has anti fungal properties too, it is amazing in curing those fungal toe infections or open wounds. A study found that 80 percent of people were cured of toe infections when they used a cream made of 5 percent tea tree oil twice daily. And while we are on the subject, if you or your closed one has an athlete’s foot, this oil has also been used to treat it. Just add a few drops to a tablespoon of witch hazel and apply to the affected area.
4)      Providing relief from cold and cough
As soon as the warning signs of cold occur, prepare a hot bath and add a few drops of this oil to help your body get rid itself of toxins. Tea tree oil has a unique menthol effect so it just not suppresses the system it will fight the infection too. You can also use it in a diffuser to purify the air or dilute it with carrier oil and apply to your chest to ease breathing and have a restful sleep.
